Wendel’s Turkeys are HERE!
🦃 Wendel’s Turkeys Are HERE!🦃
Monday, November 24th!
Since 1945, three generations of Wendel’s family farm have been providing Western New York with high quality Thanksgiving turkeys. Raised in East Concord, NY, Wendel’s turkeys are barn floor raised and fed a specialty whole grain diet for exceptional flavor. Their birds are processed with only fresh water - no preservatives or self basting oils - ensuring a pure, wholesome turkey. With deep roots in the community, Wendel’s is a proud local tradition you can cou t on to bring quality to your holiday table.
Turkeys Arrive at the Co-op
Turkeys Arrive at the
Co-op
Turkeys at the Co-op, from family farms to your table! Our all-natural turkeys are more than just your centerpiece of your Thanksgiving feast -- they're a reflection of care, quality and tradition. Raised without hormones, antibiotics, or animal by-products, you can trust that our turkeys have been treated humanely from family farm to table. Don’t wait! Plan ahead and pre-order your turkey in the size and brand of turkey you need. Plan ahead for an easy pickup the week of Thanksgiving. We make it simple, stress-free, and ready for your holiday table!
Plainville Farms: On family farms across New York and Pennsylvania, Plainville turkeys are raised with care and respect for natural farming practices. With access to fresh water and feed on their own schedule, these birds thrive on a vegetarian diet. For those seeing even higher standards, Plainville Organic turkeys are fed certified organic feed and raised to USDA organic standards. With Plainville, you’re choosing a farm that never uses antibiotics - ever.
NEW! Oink & Gobble: Oink & Gobble is a multigenerational family of Amish farmers based in Seneca County, NY. Their turkeys are raised hormone-and antibiotic-free on open pasture, where they can forage naturally in fields and woodlands. The bird’s diet is supplemented with non-GMO corn and roasted soybeans for balanced nutrition. As part of a cooperative of farms, Oink & Gobble helps bring local, responsibly raised poultry to families across our region each holiday season.
Mary’s Air-Chilled Heritage Fresh Turkey: These turkeys represent the best of American heritage breeds- naturally bred, free to run, fly and forage. Their active lifestyle leads to larger thighs and slightly smaller breasts, giving Mary’s Heritage turkeys a richer, deeper flavor thank your typical bird. What sets these turkeys apart is the air-chilling process, a method that locks in natural juices and flavor without the need for added water. Unlike water-chilled turkeys, air-chilled enhances the texture and taste, resulting in a turkey that’s truly exceptional. Perfect for those looking to bring something extraordinary to their Thanksgiving table.
