Our awesome store managers.
Nick Brown, Hertel Store Manager
I have spent the last decade as a Produce Director working for another Buffalo grocer, though I’ve been a long-time dedicated Co-op shopper. I was initially drawn to working here because of my incredibly positive experiences as an owner. The amazing customer service, community-focused initiatives, and the Co-op’s focus on quality (especially local produce!) really drew me in. I can’t express how excited I am to help lead the growth of this community-owned asset and look forward to building even stronger community ties in the future!

Seth Brown (No relation!), Elmwood Store Manager
As the store manager, I am in charge of building and maintaining all relationships within the store, from our customers and owners to our employees and vendors. I see my role as curating the experience of everyone interacting with our Elmwood location, while providing fresh, exciting, local products to our customers and owners in a welcoming environment.
I strive to support and steward my team to ensure a store experience that is unique and welcoming, and to help each employee to grow into their potential.
I came to the Co-op after several years in urban agriculture, looking to play a different part in the local food system. What I discovered in the Lexington Co-op was an incredible work environment where I was able to use my skills and passions to serve my team and customers, and work to optimize store systems to build the best store we can be.
I love knowing that my work amplifies the local economy and food system. I want our customers to know that every time they shop at the Lexington Co-op they are making a direct impact on the local economy, promoting sustainable decisions, and supporting our community, local farmers, and producers.
