As a shopper of the Lexington Co-op's Hertel location, as well as a bulk section advocate, home vegetable gardener, and avid cook and preserver, the Co-op is a neighborhood pillar that allows me to enjoy in-season food that’s been grown by local farmers.

I moved to Buffalo from Rhode Island in 2009, at a time when a number of foundational building blocks for Western New York’s revival were being put into place. Food access—especially access to fresh, quality food—and reinvestment in our economy through the support of local purveyors remain important areas of opportunity that warrant community awareness and continued support.

I care personally for the success of local food producers, businesses, and organizations, and through my public relations profession I’ve assisted local restaurants, coffee roasteries, craft breweries, and food manufacturers in generating public awareness and community connectivity.

I'm excited to continue to broaden the Co-op's reach and deepen its impact for neighbors and visitors. I proudly bring nearly two decades of engagement with local media, community relations and public affairs to the Lexington Co-op board.
