Our staff can’t wait to join the exciting, bustling Hertel Ave neighborhood in North Buffalo. These messages are in the windows of our new building at 1678 Hertel Ave!

We’re still delirious with excitement about our announcement, and we’re pretty thrilled that you are too. ‘Not soon enough!’, ‘Welcome to our neighborhood.’, ‘Two happy places!‘ are just a few of the comments we’ve heard. Thank you for the warm welcome!

Our Expansion to Hertel Ave

In February 2015, Lexington announced plans to open a second store in North Buffalo! This exciting expansion for another store moves us closer to our B.I.G. Direction goals. Our 1678 Hertel location will offer:

Double the retail space

More prepared foods

Indoor seating

More registers

3x the parking!

More Co-op Economy!

More Local and Sustainable foods!

Our Shared Vision For Expansion

In early 2011, our Board of Directors committed to doubling the size of the Co-op. After study, reflection, and engagement with owners, our final Shared Vision for Expansion emerged. Lexington will double its impact by 2050 by creating:

• More access to healthy local foods.
• More knowledge about consumer issues and co-ops.
• More local farmers, owners, food, jobs and community.
• More sustainable food, practices and infrastructure.
• More space to shop and work in.
