Canning season kicks off!
We’ve always looked forward to the month of June for the warm weather, the end of the school year, and of course the local strawberry season! Seven years ago, we added an item to that list – Co-op canning season begins! This year we have a full season of canning basics – jams, pickles, tomatoes, and peaches!
Check our our full season schedule, and come out for a class to learn an age old process to preserve your summer favorites!
Every student will leave with a recipe and instruction sheet, and their very own hand packed jar of canned goods.
Strawberry Jam: Tuesday, 6/21
Dill Pickles: Wednesday, 7/27
Blueberry Jam: Tuesday, 8/2
Peaches: Wednesday, 8/24
Tomatoes: Tuesday, 8/30
Pear Ginger Marmalade: Wednesday, 9/21
All of our canning classes are from 6-8pm, and hosted at Artisan Kitchens & Bath, 200 Amherst St, Buffalo. Preregistration required, sign up online or in-store!
You may cancel your registration for a class up to seven (7) days in advance of the class and receive a full refund or transfer to another class of equal value. Because we purchase supplies and begin to prepare, no refund or exchanges will be given on classes that are cancelled less than 48 hours prior to the class. However, if we find someone to replace your spot we will fully refund your registration. We often have a waiting list, so please let us know if you cannot attend.
